Brig Salahuddin Ayubi is from 84 long Course of PMA. He was commissioned in 1991 and was posted to the famous 5th Battalion of the world-renowned Punjab Regiment, the senior most regiment of Pakistan Infantry. He is a graduate of Command & Staff Collage Quetta as well as National Defence University Islamabad. Held Command, Staff, Operational & Instructional appointments including GSO-III & BM of an Infantry Brigade & GSO, Ops / Plans of Corps as well as DS at the School of Infantry and Tactics.
He had the honour of commanding his parent Unit the 5th Punjab Regiment know in the Pakistan Army as Sher Dil Battalion in the war Zone. Also successfully commanded an Infantry Brigade and has the honour of representing Pakistan as Sector Commander of an International Force under United Nations in MINUSCA.
Brig Ayubi has specialization in Strategic Communication, Information Operation and Advance Special Operation in Counter Terrorism. He is also an Alumnus of Macdill Advance Special Operation University for Counter Terrorism. Tampa – Florida (USA). PFP Center Ankara (Turkey) and Information Operation School for Bragg – North Carolina USA. He led production Div of ISPR and had been instrumental in restructuring of ISPR to present Shape.
Besides MINUSCA, Brigadier Ayubi has served with UNIMING as UNMO in 2003 / 2004. Presently, Serving with Airports Security Force as its Deputy Director General.
