Major General Adnan Asif Jah Shad, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) assumed charge of Director General Airports Security Force on 4th Oct 2022. He was commissioned in 14 Frontier Force Regiment on 7th Oct 1988. He is Graduate of Command & Staff College Quetta and National Defense University Islamabad. During his magnificent military career of 34 years, he has held various command, staff and instructional appointments. He had the honor to command his parent Battalion. He has also commanded an Infantry Brigade and Mechanized Division. Besides, he has served as Platoon Commander at Pakistan Military Academy and Directional Staff at Command & Staff College Quetta. He remained Battalion Major of Independent Infantry Brigade Group, Deputy Assistant Military Secretary in Military Secretary Branch, United Nation Observer in Democratic Republic Congo and Director at Personnel Services Directorate. The General Officer qualified Advance Mechanized Company Commander Course from Germany and also served as Defense Attaché Germany at Embassy of Pakistan, Berlin. He commanded 26 Mechanized Division Bahawalpur from Nov 2018 to May 2020 and took over as Director General Personnel Administration on 16th May 2020.
